This policy explains what personal information Formavo collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Formavo is operated by seyiHQ Limited, referred to here as we, us and our. We are the data controller for the information described below.

Who this applies to

Formavo is for adults aged 18 and over. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

What we collect

When you use Formavo we collect:

• Account details. Your email address and a password, which is stored securely by our authentication provider.
• Your profile. Details you give us such as your age, sex, height, weight and your goal, which we use to build your plan.
• Your training data. Your shifts and rota, the workouts you do, the sets, reps and weights you log, and your progress over time.
• Your health and lifestyle data. Your body weight, your sleep, and any food you log.
• Photos. Progress photos you choose to add, and photos of meals you upload for logging.
• Basic technical data. Information your device and browser send when you use the app, used to keep it running and secure.

Some of this, such as your weight, your sleep and your photos, is health related information. We only collect it to provide the app to you, and we treat it with extra care.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use your information to:

• Create and run your account.
• Build your training plan and your daily targets.
• Show you what to do, let you log it, and track your progress.
• Recognise the food in meal photos you upload.
• Keep the app secure and working, and respond to your messages.

Our legal basis for most of this is that we need it to provide the service you have asked for. For health related information, we rely on your explicit consent, which you give by choosing to enter that information. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting the information or your account.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Formavo, and only so they can do that work for us:

• Our hosting and database provider, which stores your account and your data.
• Our email provider, which sends account emails such as sign up and password resets.
• Our AI provider, which processes the meal photos you upload so we can identify the food.

Some of these providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect it. We may also share information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your information, although some records may remain for a short period in backups before they are removed.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to ask us to:

• Give you a copy of your information.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete your information.
• Limit or object to how we use it.
• Receive your information in a portable form.

You can do much of this in the app itself, for example by editing your details or deleting your account. To make any other request, contact us at support@seyihq.com.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

Formavo uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the app secure. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including secure storage and encrypted connections. No service can be completely secure, so please keep your password safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make an important change we will let you know in the app or by email.
